You obviously are not aware of the Gilbert Perrault Curse. The Oilers are always the favourite to win the lottery. In the Canucks near 50 year history we have never had the priviledge of owning the 1st overall pick. You think that all of a sudden is going to happen for this organization?
It's simple assume where we will finish in the standings and then drop us back 3 spots post lottery. That's where we will be picking. We ain't catching Arizona

The Canucks owned the first overall pick in 1999. Maybe we are cursed because we traded it away.RoyalDude wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 9:12 am You obviously are not aware of the Gilbert Perrault Curse. Well, for few short moments. They traded the 4th overall they acquired from Chicago for McCabe and the 2000 1st overall and parlaying Chicago's 4th and two of our 3rd overalls to Tampas 1st overall and quickly gave the 1st to Atlanta for the promise of them drafting Stefan. We owned the first for a blink of an eye. It was never stationary, all perpetual in the process of drafting the Sedins
