Goldy is going to be a sniper for us HW, he his just young, very young and somewhat of a suportive player. When Pettersson starts Buddin' then you'll see Goldy with Maturity be a Solid 2/3 sniper? Maybe 1/2, but we'll see? He has a lot of competition and at least 2 more drafts to build the competition? Thoughts HW?

Friedman noticing Edler's refusal to feed Boeser. When it gets noticed by outsiders then you hope Green takes notice.

I see the potential in him and don't advocate giving up on him yet. I do think if he was on a line of better players, including better on playing a 200' game, he "should" thrive. Something like Horvat/Baertschi or Horvat/Boeser. But the reality is we don't have a complete top six yet to allow him to slide in. Perhaps in a couple of years as you suggest but this is his last year where he doesn't require waivers.

He isn't a 3/4 line player. I would like to see him get more PP time. And what the heck, our PK is so bad let him play there.

He's the type of player who if isn't scoring gets lost. Jake has worked his ass off the move up. Goldobin just seems to quit. So it seems he needs to be top six or bust.

I think it won't be long before we see him back in Utica. There Cull had him playing PK. He needs that. Needs to work on his complete game because if he doesn't Green won't dress him. He isn't a generation superstar type that's going to get gifted top six ice time and if that's what he's waiting for....

Maybe we can pull a Baertschi type trade and get a 2nd?

Makes my blood boil thinking how much better the 1st PP unit would be if Pouliot was out there instead.

Good Points, I'm hoping that Green is trying to condition him for next year? To be more of a Lunch Box Player before he turns around and puts on the jets! Boeser plays that type of game and should be the perfect example!!! You're right on about Jake, he has started to look really strong, at times still looks lost (ala Kassian) but he's slowly minimizing those as each game passes.

Goldobin out there with Virtanen and Granlund. Not a bad offensive shift.

Agreed they looked good, tough on the puck. Virtanen is starting to find his groove, let's hope he stays focused and doesn't have a head swell!!!
