I don't think you can totally Blame Green for Edler, he will always be Eddy and that was him at his best!!! The Sedin's I love and defended them as Second liners when everyone wanted to trade them, they were tracking in the right directions. Know they are tracking in the wrong directions, overtime is not their best time!!! They don't have the Speed to play 3 on 3!!!

They were doing fine on the first shift, but somehow a Shark gets behind Edler and Grandlund for a breakaway.

The Sharks pretty much never left the zone after that and Edler never left the ice in OT.

The problem is that the Sedins are not good at defending at this stage of their careers because of the lack of footspeed. Instead of having both on the same line, Henrik should play with Virtanen and Daniel could play with Gagner or Gaunce. This one is on Green for sure.

Sure. That's true. But it's also true guys with great footspeed get scored on.

Horvat? I'm sure he got scored on a few times. The twins have dominated faster guys who are good checkers.

So, like I said. It's 3-on-3. Sometimes it's glory, sometimes it's shame. Would you prefer a Willie D get to the shootout or roll the dice with your offensive players and go for it?

Edler never leaving the ice sure didn't help.
