So our top line is Sutter/Granlund/Dorsett. Doesn't say much for the other three lines. But they have been our best line so far tonight.

The 2nd unit hasn’t been given enough chance.Hank wrote:And because the 2nd unit still has not proven they can consistently enter the zone, consistently set up and consistently create chances.Island Nucklehead wrote:Because they are the most skilled players we have.Hockey Widow wrote:Why is Green abandoning us? If you want to count on Bo going end to end as the PP strategy... then yeah.
Green sat out the wrong person tonight.

They've had plenty of PP time this season under Green. They were starting PPs remember? They just didn't get a sniff on tonight's 5-on-3. And they're spending all that time going back and retrieving the puck.Reefer2 wrote:The 2nd unit hasn’t been given enough chance.Hank wrote:And because the 2nd unit still has not proven they can consistently enter the zone, consistently set up and consistently create chances.Island Nucklehead wrote:Because they are the most skilled players we have.Hockey Widow wrote:Why is Green abandoning us? Yes, Green sat the wrong person tonight. If Loui is out for any duration, then maybe Jake will see a more prominent role.

Eriksson will not return. Knee injury. Wonder if they will call someone up for the road trip.

Loved how Gudbranson cleared Taychook out of there. That little fucker always jabs the goalie after the whistle. He's an asswhole but not our asshole so I hate him.

During the first period break, Elliotte Friedman showed the extent of the empty seats at tonight' Canuck's game and speculated that ownership is not going to like it... we'll see in time if they're really behind the 'lind-enning' rebuild or not.

I don't care what anyone says, that was a good penalty by Gudbranson. That's what he brings.
Maybe he got him good with his stick but it sure looked like Tkachuk snapped his head back and tried to milk it.

He's also likely diving there. Good on the refs for not falling for it.Hockey Widow wrote:Loved how Gudbranson cleared Taychook out of there. That little fucker always jabs the goalie after the whistle. He's an asswhole but not our asshole so I hate him.

Again under Markstrom's arm/glove. He really needs to get that fixed.
Two bad goals.

8.5 minutes left in the second and Canuck's without a shot.

Sell draft picks and prospects for a win now approach to get butts back in da seats? Is that the ticket?

Is Linden Vey in the Calgary lineup tonight? Thought he went to the KHL...RoyalDude wrote:nuckster wrote:During the first period break, Elliotte Friedman showed the extent of the empty seats at tonight' Canuck's game and speculated that ownership is not going to like it... we'll see in time if they're really behind the 'lind-enning' rebuild or not.
