It's year 3 for Elmer, not two. And yes EPSTEIN Ann his GENIUS was apparent when the Sox won the Series two years in . Baseball is a great game. Definitely not for people with the attention span of an aphid

Well, Doc, Eriksson does have 1 goal.

Hope I'm wrong and your right. Why? Because I'd rather be happy then sad. :(

James Elmer Benning was hired by my Vancouver Canucks on May 23, 2014 (2.4 years ago).

James Elmer Benning's GENIUS was apparent when the Bruins won the Cup in 2011.

Until his head is screwed on straight, he's still looking 2-3 years behind.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Eriksson is in a slump, before you know it he will breakout.

You called the Eriksson contract a bad one.

Keep in mind that on July 1 2020 (when Canucks pay him his $3M signing bonus)

... Loui will only be owed a total of $5M real dollars over his last 2 seasons = $2.5M average ($6M cap-hit).

There will be 16 (possibly 17) teams to which he can be traded... he'll be 34 years old.

Hell, he might even retire at that point, having received $31M of the $36M due on this contract.

Elmer is in his third season and likely will miss the playoffs for the 2nd time in 3 years. It's debatable how much he had to do with the Bruins cup. The drafting looks awfully shitty during his tenure.

Theo on th other hand was the main architect of four championships in a dozen years.

THEO EPSTEIN IS A MOTHERFUCKING GENIUS.

For all I know this Epstein of yours is a fictional character created in your mind by drug-induced psychosis.

What changes do you foresee over the next 2-3 years that will make the Canucks a great team? What do you project the starting line-up to be at that time?

I see a lot of great drafting and development going on right now

= 2-3 years from now your Vancouver Canucks will be a contender.

(some nice trades for for good young and youngish players as well)

Common Sense really...

Well, yes, common sense that a genius GM would do genius GM things.

Could you be more specific ? In particular, who will be on the top two lines ?
(It is not too hard for someone trying to be optimistic to imagine a great top 4 defence corps and goaltender -- though most of those have yet to prove out -- but it is harder to see who, besides Horvat and Boeser, might be scoring goals.)

Please help me out, here.

Loui will get us 20+ goals while playing gweat defensively, what awe you imagining "coming up"?

I can see the president of the Kool-Aid Club is back at full swing. First, it was the luv affair with MG, now it's the constant Benning is genius crap. You take whatever shit they say and do like it's coming from the Lord Almighty.

Once again, You live in a drug induced fantasy with no concept of monetary value. Oh, just buy out Luongo for like $25 Million. A two way player who can score 20Gs? Lets give him $36 Million. It's all monopoly money to you. Seriously, we have enuff guys who are roughly 20G scorers and plays great defensively. We need guys who are threats offensively and can put the puck in the back of the net on a regular basis. For $6M per, he'd better have goals coming out of his ass and at least be pushing 30Gs. He was a 30G guy last season and playing with the Sedins, if he's any good, he should get that easily to warrant that kind of contract. Otherwise, it will be a bad signing.
