Tryamkin the lone bright spot this season,

along with the bearcheese coming out party.

Hansen the warrior.

Daniel still putting up points.

Hutton the assist man.

Horvat learning to pass.

Miller/Markstrom both have Sedin like eerie equal stats with gaa/sv%
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Sorry I disagree... I hated it when Ladd popped the winner in..
I watch the Canucks to see them play well ( they did ok tonight ) and WIN :)

Seems ridiculous to see them play so well against both the Preds and Chicago but run outta horse power to finish the game.. Our D is shaping up for next year .. Trymkin and Hutton ? add to Edler, Tanev, Sbiza , Hamhuis ,, spare D Biega, Perdun and maybe Larson.. not bad going forward..

I dont care where we finish in the Lottery .. The Coley Hall curse remains in place.. We didn't get Perreult in 1970 and wont get #1 this year.. Be happy if we get one of the 2 Finnish wingers..

Just hoping we keep Hansen around to mentor and teach the new guys .. and maybe Hamhuis to steady the defence...

The only 1 of the new guys that looks like a top 6 forward is Baertchi .. Rest look 3rd or 4th line or AHL ..

Settle down.

Good game to watch, more like what I expected to see this season from the Canucks.

Since folks are talking bright spots.

Hutton leads the way, followed by Markstrom with Bearcheese following.

The toll of being #2 caught up to Horvat a month ago, I'm not concerned, but the guy is beat but still fighting.

Virtanen and McCann, ones the odometer going up, the other is the gas gauge going down.

2014 Draft
1st Round - Virtanen, McCann
2nd Round - Demko
3rd Round - Tryamkin
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Benning has done more in one draft than what Benning did in 6. Yet Benning is an idiot according to the wise. The rebuild ain't gonna be such a cold dark place with the Bird Dawg Scout at the helm.

Ya, they did look pretty good last night
game could have gone either way
happy to see McCan lose his temper when he thought maybe a hawks goal was his fault, that's good
I'm not one to suggest Virtanen and McCan in the minors next year, no way!
Hopefully, Vey gone, Higgins gone, maybe Edom, and "Good Game, Burr", but you too.
Point: there will be room...

Remember the goal Burrows scored in 2011 when the Hawks had come back from 3 games down and Lou had just robbed Sharp to keep us in it?

Yep. Thought about that a coupla times last night while watching this one.

Ultimately meaningless though since we lost to Boston and Chicago has 3 cups since our rivalry with them began.

Comparing Chicago and Vancouver since 2009 is a spotlight on how piss poor Mike Gillis was as a GM, and how shitty our scouting department was.

The drafting, for sure, but even in 2009 (and even more obviously in 2011) it was clear that Chicago was at the very beginning of a long ascendance.. a younger core than us and a better team already. That franchise just had a better hand.

The 'wise'? More like the Wide...

If we get even just 2 of those as NHL regulars then GMJB is da man...
I love every move Jim Benning makes 8-)
