We knew this was coming, now we're in it. Just tank the year. Fuck it

Amen brother.

Ugly loss but it is expected, what I find sad it the lack of push back from the vets (other than the Sedins)

Is Vrbata playing?
higs/bur/vrbata = $12M, trade em all or keep one of em.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Mathews would be one of the best things to ever happen to this franchise.

That's why they'll never let that happen.

Remember when Pittsburgh "won" the Crosby lotto after the team threatened to move and Mario took over? Lofl

There are about five other really good prospects in this draft, but Mathews is head and shoulders above them.

Why keep any of them? Hansen was the guy I figured should stick around as an example to the kids, but the way he's playing makes me wonder if a contender might throw us a late 1st for him.

We need to circulate a highlight reel of him breaking in on goal (not the shots, just the breakaways). :D

Islanders losing 5 - 1 to Florida and the Islanders are a better team than the Nucks so every team craps the bed once in a while.

Canucks D is getting beaten like a narc at a biker rally tonight. Parise is more slippery than [mod edit] and our penalty kill reminds me of the Oilers last year.

If Vrbata keeps this up we will be lucky to get a 4th round pick for him

Lol it isn't just the d . The forwards other than the first line are not capable of carrying the puck in or putting any sort of heavy forecheck on the opposition . Getting a good chance with more than one pass . Fuggetaboutit. Tank this prick

Draft Matthews and hire his coach, apparently Matthews and Boeser have good chemistry. It all makes perfect sense.

He's still got more value than Sbisa or Sutter .
