WD confirms Hamhuis lost some teeth and has a probable broken jaw. Will be in hospital at least overnight for precaution and until he is stable. Then a full assessment and treatment can be determined. Looks like LTIR for him.
With Sbisa still week to week I guess we get to see Weber back in. OMG Weber, Bartkowski and Biegga all in the same game.

^cont.
First Brandon Sutter and then a whole slew of dmen injuries this early season.
smh just as the team was getting it all together.@imacVanSun
Canucks will need to callup D for road trip. Sbisa (hand) not going and Hamhuis (jaw) out indefinitely.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Exactly why waiving corrado was oh so stupid. I guess we call Pedan back up?

Technically Miller' had a 60 minute shutoutSKYO wrote:Miller with the calmness.
Edler with another dominant game.
(not counting penalty shot)
Weber or another D should draw in if #2 sits out next gameBiega low-key better than Weber in all facets of the game
Hope WD stays with this lineup (two wins in a row!)

It was either that or sending Hutton to Utica. Hutton was our best defence in preseason and is still one of our more consistent D. Corrado did not out play Weber. Those were the only choices. I hated losing Frankie but he can't even crack the leaves line up.
Probably Pedan, you're right. Would be nice to see him play.

Yeah, without that crazy contract for Pizza guy we could have had Santorelli AND another D-manSKYO wrote:lol corrado, sound like those santorelli fans, just never give up.

First - Skyo you are one of a kind, Edler finally plays 1 game like he should and you go all ape shit over his awesomeness, it is like you would be his man lover if you could. I would say he had a good game but then so does Weber and Bartowksi so does that make them 1st pairing defence man?SKYO wrote:Miller with the calmness.

Warpigs line (Prust-Cracknell-Dorsett) is the epitome of an awesome 4th energy/agitator line.
Miller was ok, I was at the game and it was not a difficult game for him.
4th line is fracking useless if you want a line that hits, I never seen so many flybys from a line that is suppose to be your crash and hitters.
Canucks after the Sedins are nothing.
So just wondering if the shirts I saw on some people at the game came that way or were they altered, I was amazed at how much they were willing to show..... I guess bigger is better.

Going into the game I was thinking about how Nash makes highlight reel plays against soft defenses that blow their gap coverage and how completely and tactless it would be to have WCE night with Dominique Moore in the building. One of those would have made me chuckle.
The Stoll delay of game was cheap, the make up call on Burrows was cheaper.
So much fun watching the washed up aged twins struggling from their sledges.
Tanev-Edler
Biega-Bartkowski
Hutton-Weber
Playing tough it out road games on home ice.
Soup is good food.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

I thought one of the reasons why the Canucks won the last two games has to do with Weber not in the lineup.Reefer2 wrote: First - Skyo you are one of a kind, Edler finally plays 1 game like he should and you go all ape shit over his awesomeness, it is like you would be his man lover if you could. Did Miller not make some good saves earlier on to keep the Canucks in the game?Reefer2 wrote: Miller was ok, I was at the game and it was not a difficult game for him.
I thought the 4th line played pretty well last night. They might not crash and bang as much as you want but they did create a few good scoring chances.Reefer2 wrote: 4th line is fracking useless if you want a line that hits, I never seen so many flybys from a line that is suppose to be your crash and hitters.

Edler has his fuckups from time to time but he isn't some kind of pylon, like it or not Edler is the teams best all round dmen for size/physicality/points/plays in all situations, I'd say a lot of teams would love him on their squad, he'd be a lot better imo if we had a true #1 dman to help him out though.
It's an energy/physical/agitator line, and they do their jobs very well, the fact that they can keep the puck in the opposing zone a lot and help create pressure on their dmen is even better.Reefer2 wrote:4th line is fracking useless if you want a line that hits, I never seen so many flybys from a line that is suppose to be your crash and hitters.

We're undefeated since Prust de-nutted Marchand

Skyo - I don't fall for it because tongue in cheek I give it right back thus the man love reference.
I will admit he played a great game last night and if he can do that 70 games of the season then I take everything back about him.
4th line as I said if you a line to hit, they don't do that, at least not at last nights game.
Man is a live game so much faster than watching it on TV, too bad it cost a full days wages to see a game, park and have a beer or 2.
