The Wilds @ The Canucks, 7pm - Tickets Still Available

Post by rockjetty »

Isn't there a game in an hour and a half?! I can't say I am looking forward to this one... Is an important game in the wild card race & the 'Nucks are dropping like flies.

TV: SNP
Radio: TEAM1040

Canucks GP 55: W:31 L:21 OTL: 3 PTS: 65
Wilds GP 55: W:28 L:20 OTL: 7 PTS: 63

Update (11:05 a.m.) - Per Coach Desjardins, Edler continues to be evaluated and is not expected to play tonight. His status for the upcoming road trip is not yet known. Weber draws back into the lineup in Edler's spot. McMillan and Biega (recalled this morning) unlikely to dress. Lack is the projected starter.

Wild are hot and always seem to beat us.

I hate the Wild. Goes back to the boring Lemaire days and how they always seem to beat us.

Lack is going to have to play really well.

Get Denman St ready...Herb.

I'd laugh like a psycho if Hamhuis got hurt.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

The Wilds are on a bit of a run right now. They have an easy week coming up (Oilers twice and the Stars), Canucks and Flames both facing a lot of playoff teams in the coming week, with the exception of NJD.

Canucks are going to need to simplify their game, and hopefully they pull together for Eddie.

You know it's bad when you wish Corrado was healthy.

So that's two concussions for Tanev in what, a month? Yikes.

If Edler is gone for any stretch we can kiss this season goodbye.

Well Tanev did block a shot with his face, as he was still recovering from having his bell rung, so the same concussion

Feel better, only one concussion. If it really is concussion problems I'd be fine with shutting him down for awhile.

Should be interesting on the back end. This game will speak volumes about our forwards commitment to playing defence. Big game, defining moment in our season.

And Vey shows his commitment to back checking. Bench him for McMillan!

We were carrying the play and bam, one lazy back check and they score.

Miller would have had that
