It's their speed that gives them an edge. That and they are willing to play the cycle and look at more than just the perimeter passing game. They tend to push the pace more than slow it down.Topper wrote: Datsyuk and Zetterberg deserve all the attention they receive. They play the Sedin game with more power, strength and shooting.
Even I have to admit that Edler is having a much better season. His offensive numbers are down, but he's picking his spots in smarter ways, and he's less prone to being caught out of position. Could be Willie D, could be Tanev, probably a combination of both.Gotta love the work of Edler this year and capped with his take no bullshit from Abdelkader penalty after allowing him to screen Miller on the Tatar goal. Forget the dreadful season last year, the guy is standing up as a beast, started the season slow but is becoming what Benning said he wanted.
One thing of note from the last two games has been Bo's speed. He's not the fastest in the league, but he has surprised me with the way he has chased down pucks and beaten defenders to the corner and end boards. It's been a while since we got to watch a kid develop and actually see more than just the warts. I'm quite enjoying it.Fun watching Bobcock play line matching as Willie rolls four with abandon except on face offs. Lead to some scary moments with the Horvat line over matched a few times.
He did have a nice read at the blueline and stepped up to turn the puck over and create a chance. But the rust showed.Someone take an air chisel and get the rust off Kassian's game. Maybe an acid bath and wax.
