I'm with you Rats, but like any long time Canucks fan, I just can't commit 100%.
I know its funny hey? Kinda hold your breath trust... But at least its present!!

That's what I was hoping for. Didn't happen though.. bad period but I guess it would be hard to keep playing the same way.

What a game though.. this team should be full of confidence now. :D

Pittsburgh started to realize in the second they were in over their heads with this team.

I was never a big fan of Roberto or his quirks regardless (much to the chagrin of many posters over the years).

People get on Miller but there are a multiude of reasons he is a far better goalie for us than Roberto.

Personally I am way happier and feel far more secure with Ryan in net.

And, to add to that, Miller knows how to coach goalies too! He called it. He should play against Washington and Lack should get the Pit game. As Lack said when asked about how he felt about that, it worked out didn't it?

Got the feeling the twins were more concerned with eating clock.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Can you explain further what 100% commit means in your eyes?

Do you mean to imply that you don't believe what you see?

Or....

Or.... I've gotten my hopes up so many times in the past 40+ years (just to be burned) that I just can't say that I'm 100% on board with the new management / coaching team and expecting great things.

I'm liking what I'm seeing so far, but is there any long time Canuck fan that isn't waiting for the other shoe to drop (just a little)?

Just enjoy watching the games, that's what it's all about.

As long as the effort is there, enjoyment will follow. Worrying about committing to management is just overthinking things. Commitment is for relationships.

Fuck it. Enjoy the winning while it's here because who knows how long it or I will last.

I to am a long time suffering Canuck fan.

Whether they win, lose or draw this regime has sold me.

I'm already pleasantly suprised by Linden (expectations when hired were highly tempered) and Benning has sold me completely and entirely.

Desjardin is a major bonus.

If we want to look at it via the eyes of a defined cynicist and believer in twists of fate perhaps the Gods of Hockey have impaled us with the latter day GMMG and HCJT as cruel thrusts of irony prior to allowing the current crew to descend upon us, heal our long weeping wounds and finally, at long last, pave our way to the promised land.

Hey - I just want a Cup in Vancouver before I die, ok? I don't care who puts together the team for this (unless it's Messier) or how the regular season goes. I just want to see a Canuck team raise the Cup. Is that too much to ask?

And for the record, I'm also enjoying the hell out of this unexpected successful season. :D

What I worry about is

... after we win the Cup

... what happens to my outlandish

... "CANUCKS WILL WIN THE CUP THIS YEAR!!!"

... schtick!! :(

Instead of: :wow: ... and:

... the responses are more likely to be "Yeah, probably".

Don't worry - like the rest of us, you'll die of liver failure about 2 weeks after the victory. ;)
