Loss of Kesler is crippling though.

Wow.
Should we be surprised by anything that happens the rest of this season? If I was Kesler, I'd stay injured.

Nice to see Burrows score, twice, and the team in a good mood. Kesler injury sucks, hopefully it's not serious, but even if it is minor, they should shut him down.
The most positive thing I take out of the game, for the team's future, was the play of Jensen. These last 15 games should be about playing the kids. Really liked the look of Jensen, gaining confidence, made a couple of real sweet plays. He'll still make rookie mistakes, but this is the perfect time for him to play, let him have the last 15 games to keep learning and getting a sense of the nhl pace/play. Ice time for the kids, and if that means we drop a little more in the standings...win-win.

Totally agree. It's not like the kid is making any more mistakes than the vets have been all year.Boston Canucker wrote: The most positive thing I take out of the game, for the team's future, was the play of Jensen. In fact, I'd call up another to replace Sestito. That guy absolutely sucks in this kind of system. There's no need to have both him and Archibald in the line-up.

Eddie Lack Attack Pack! Nice to see him bounce back after a tuff game vs Isles.
Nice to see Burr finally score a couple. Burr is finally looking like the old Burr again. He has to keep buzzing around the net and score those greasy goals around the blue paint. I think he should do his Luc Bourdon arrow shot tribute, he could use some puck luck and blessings from Saint Luc.
The last couple of games have been very entertaining, these are basically our playoff games. I'm glad to see our guys win today, but I'm not really sure if I want to see them squeek into the playoffs or just die and get killed every nite, so we can get a better draft pick and see more changes in the offseason.

Yeah, I liked what I saw from Jensen too. He made some nice passes to set guys up. I like the fact that he's a very good back checker. He comes back hard and takes his man like a dog on a bone (ex - when he got a penalty for chopping the stick of a guy last game). Generally, coaches like young players who play well defensively and those guys get more ice time and chances vs a guy who has good skillz, but is a liability defensively or is a bit lazy. If Jensen can keep playing like this, he maybe one of those youngs guys ready for prime time NHL next season. Would still like to see him bulk up a bit and get stronger.Boston Canucker wrote:The most positive thing I take out of the game, for the team's future, was the play of Jensen. News is he is on his way back to Vancouver for evaluation. Could be season ending.

Am I the only one who wishes that one day Brad Boyes and Alexander Semin will be traded to Winnipeg, and playing on a line with Bryan Little?
Think about it.

I was just saying I want to see them play together on a line. You're being disgusting.rats19 wrote:Do you dream of little boyes semin often bb??BurningBeard wrote:Am I the only one who wishes that one day Brad Boyes and Alexander Semin will be traded to Winnipeg, and playing on a line with Bryan Little?

BURR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X 2.
Ahhh suckage. One of the very few games that I missed this season and it was the game where Burr scored 2 (two) goals.
I was listening to the post game though on my way home and I heard Edler absolutely stunk it up tonight. Truth?
