Y'know alotta folk would call a guy nutso for Cup-fantasizing in a GDT after a loss to the worst team in the west
... towards the end of one of the worst months in team history.
But then alotta folk can't grasp the concept: YA GOTTA BELIEVE!
I't's time for these stats-quoting coulda-woulda deflated-because-of-how-the-team-actually-sucks morons to
... WAKE THE FUCK UP!!

On the very day we win the Cup, wot say we ban all the bedwetters so they can't partake in the celebrations!SKYO wrote: lol is that too much to ask? just one championship please, then I can RIP.

With the 21st pick of the 1992 NHL draft, the Vancouver Canucks forgo the scouts and listen to their fans.....SKYO wrote:Yeah it is amazing how atrocious this team has been managed and drafted etc over the years....hence no Stanley Cups.
Lucky the Canucks didn't have legions of canucks fan online back in those days lol.

He should have looked at all of the players the Canucks have passed on and shit-canned every scout in the organization.
I'd also like to say that the loss of Luc Bourdon (RIP) makes our drafting track record look worse than it is. The guy was projected to be a top 2 anchor on the blueline.
It's too bad we don't just let Bob MacKenzie draft in the 1st round. Or 80% of online fans.
Anze Kopitar.

No point really, it's just something to talk about. Think of it as a break from banging our heads at the wall when we think about Burrows and Booth.Listercat wrote:Maybe I'm missing something, but what in the hell is the point of rehashing who could have been drafted when Burke & Nonis were GM?
Re: City of Champions @ Vancouver - 7PM - SPac
I should have said recent drafting track record (like last 10 years or so). But I admit, that still doesn't make up for missing on guys like Giroux, Keith, Perron.....mathonwy wrote:One Luc Bourdon doesn't make up for every drafting fuck up that was made by our team but I like your positivity.
