Too bad, Kassian can't play like that all season long... Archibald really makes good with his chance playing with Richardson and Kassian.SKYO wrote: probably work down there too lol. jk that sucks.
Luongo playing good!
Sedins being the Sedins in dominating the offensive zone.
Kassian really involved in this game!

cant hold it back anymore, who is the goofball on CBC that has the Maple Leaf dick in his mouth.
Calling the last penalty against the leaves a dive by the Canuck player.
Right, hit from behind in the numbers 4 ft from the boards.
What a fucking retard.

No doubt, could be a good sign though as Kassian could be that player who only thrives in the playoffs/intense games?Jovocop wrote: Too bad, Kassian can't play like that all season long
2nd line solidified with Higgins - Santos - Burrows.
And yup Archibald is fitting in well.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

No doubt we brought our A game. Want proof? We scored a PP goal seriously that was the only negative tonight going 1-8 but it could have been worse. Could have gone 0-8!!
Luongo not tested too much but was good when he had to be, you know what two shots I'm talking about But he got the SO which means no soft goals. His stats are rising in the right direction and again shows he is top 5 in this league.
Three pretty good lines tonight. Goals from everywhere, another positive. Higgins/Santorelli/Burrows looking like a solid line. Good pieces to make a serviceable third but no real 4th line presence. Still missing some pieces but a strong win.
leaves looked liked they should. Totally out classed, out played, out shot, out hustled and completely over their heads. Without very very solid goaltending from Reimer this one would have been over in the first 10 minutes. He did impress me and I could see why the leaves wanted to keep him. This team would be in the basement without the solid goaltending they have received. They play goon hockey and tonight it cost them. Not on the scoreboard but in disrupting the lines and flow.
Speaking of flow they had like 5 minutes the whole game where they looked liked they wanted to play. Vancouver was that good though totally shut them down and exposed all of their weaknesses, which is pretty well everything.
Bolland hurt, par for the course, he was past due to get a serious injury that would keep him out for awhile. Too bad it is a cut on the leg and on a normal hockey play. Let's see how long it takes Leaf fans to scream for Kassian to be suspended. Let's see how long it takes them to scream bias reffing. Finally a game where the calls go our way. All of those boarding calls were good calls. The leaves just suck and cry and whine and dive.
Got a huge chuckle out of the commentators being surprised it was such an intense game and wondering where all the hate comes from. They really don't get it. Toronto is the most hated team in Canada outside of Toronto. Their fans and media have done a good job trying to convince the world that they are Canada's team and that the Canucks are the most hated. But that is what being delusional,is all about.
This is the start of the leaves coming back down to earth.
Loved this game, loved our effort, loved how we showed off our superior skill. This was a game of a contender putting a pretender in their place!!
Now that this is behind us we need to show we can now play with the big boys in the West.
p.s.
Anyone else notice that that fish smell has cleared up?

Quite obviously both. A camera shot of Weekes ass as Stock talks about exploding into him. Jesus CBC. That would get them fined for milliond upon millions down here.Topper wrote:Stock and Weekes, awkward or gay
Kassian....if he can figure out a way to play like that game in and game out you have a far bigger difference maker than Hodgson.
Nice to Bure tonight. Also nice to see he has enough money put away to have bought his wife some tits.

Great game. The Laughs sucked, Lou gets the shutout, Bolland gets back what hes been dishing out for years,Bure finally gets his number retired. life is sweet.

Sorry but what was this amateur "contender" team we just played tonight???
They're fucking terrible and don't deserve to be in this league.

Here fishy, fishy, fishy.... what, nothing to say when your idols get bitch-smacked on the scoreboard and your alleyway bullies turn out to be turn-style chumps? C'mon Tuna, be a big boy and show up - unless you're a true Georgie-porgie like your beloved Buds.
Nice to see the boys stand-up to the typical Carlyle-inspired thuggery. Even better to see Bolland hobbling off the ice, never to be seen again tonight. I would shed tears if this was a career-altering injury - but they would be tears of joy. Nobody deserves it more than that kiddie-diddler. That Kassian both hobbled Bolland and then scored a goal on the same shift just elevated him in my esteem. Like others have said, if only he could play that kind of game every game.
Notwithstanding Edler's problems breaking out on the PP, maybe it would be wise to put him back on with Garrison to give the opposing PK 2 bombs to watch for instead of the predictable Garrison shot. Seems to me the powerplay is getting predictable again.
Higgins had an inspired game tonight and it will be worth seeing if Santorelli can make that a true 2nd line with Higgins and Burrows on the wing.
About as perfect an outcome as I could reasonably hope for. More beer now....

I thought it looked like an exhibition game against the Marlies...
