Came across a name that I figured I would throw into the mix.....Tom Poti.

He's 36 years old, and has said he wants to continue playing but will not return to the Capitals.

If, and it is a BIG IF, Edler is traded, Tom Poti could be a guy that could replace some of his offense. Poti is a big body, average mobility, but good PP asset. He's positionally sound most of the time, and the knock on him has always been brain farts and a soft physical play for a guy his size. But as a 3rd pairing guy who has had some injury problems, there is a chance he could be signed for less than he made in Washington. As it was he was only a cap hit of $2.75M, and I think he's a guy that is worth looking at for anything under $2M.

Hamhuis-Bieksa
Garrison-Tanev
Poti-Corrado

It's not stellar, but it's serviceable.
