Women in the dressing room

Post by 2Fingers »

Went looking for the comments I thought someone posted about what Don Cherry said about the Sedin's not playing tonight and instead came across his bit about women in the dressing room.

I for one do believe there needs to a "code" what ever that should be and it should apply to both female/male reporters with female/male athletes. Also the "green" room is not a bad idea or make all reporters wait 30 minutes until after the game before they can come into the locker room.

I absolutely agree there needs to be a code and if we allow access for women to men's dressing rooms we need to allow men access to women's dressing rooms. And ya, I agree a hold back of 30 minutes and some sort of interviewing area should be allowed and the rest of the dressing room closed to all reporters.

You can't force someone to be respectful, they either are or they are not. If someone is sexist they are sexist and you won't change them. I heard Keith's comments and I didn't really find them to be sexist. The reporter was asking stupid questions and he tried to answer and she persisted on being stupid. Brooks has gotten worse from Torts over the years in NY.
