If the leaves don't win a couple of rounds this year, they will soon. What a great young team they are. The future is very bright. Second youngest NHL team and look how good they are.
 The Devils have only scored 96 goals this year, Montreal is on a losing streak, comeback when you have actually won a round. 8-)

Meh... not a leaf fan in the slightest but I suspect the boston/toronto series will be rough and entertaining.

Don't care who wins. My only hope is that the Canucks advance and do so healthy.

What I wanna know is....How can you fit all of those leaves in your mouth?!

The Make Beliefs have a total career 200 games of post-season experience on their team. That's it. 200.

In 2011 season alone Boston has over 300 games experience. I didn't count all the years all their players have tasted the real season. Probably well over 1000 man games.
Same with Montreal, same with Pittsburgh.

Regular (lock-out) season means shyte. 8-)

lol listen this lil scenario isn't as farfetched as some might make it out to be... The last 2 times the Bruins have played the leaves the laffs have taken 3 of 4 pts... the Physical element that Boston has on alot of teams well try these on for size Toronto is tougher...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzecGFw2M_o funny thing happens 40 sec into the fight Lucic has had enough after Orr breaks his fucking NOSE...

exhibit b... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXYjGtdUbeQ Laffs 2- big bad bruins not so big and bad

exhibit c... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2HkI2HGPsU Tony Gallaghers buddy not so intimidating in his velvet suit...

just for shits and giggles watch this 4th line shift and goal by the toughest Leaf when was the last time Boston got run over in their own end like this??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPh8rPOF3Jo
Are you actually a Leaf fan? Because this is getting ridiculous.

So now you're bringing in Colton Orr (can't skate, can't score, can't play), Fraser McLaren (see Orr) and guys like that and saying the leaves are tough? Never mind these guys will be lucky to se the ice in the playoffs at all, and that the leaves have the butter soft Kessel, Bozak, Grabovski, and the injury prone JVR and Lupul all in your top 6 forwards. I guess Kadri, who has never played a playoff game, is going to do it all for them? Phaneuf will take on Chara, Lucic, McQuaid and Horton at the same time?

Dont' get me wrong - I think the leaves have a decent shot and doing something this playoffs, maybe even squeaking out one round if all goes right for them - but to say they are tougher than the Bruins is stupid. You need toughness that can play, and that's something the leaves just don't have.
Milan I have 6 goals in 40 games Lucic???? Milan I have as many goals as Zack Kassian Lucic??? Fraser plays as much as as McQuaid and he beats him up Mcquaid hasn't been himself this year since losing 15 pounds following his offseason surgery
Chara see his fight vs Jay Harrison and Horton I think the only guy Dale Weise ever beat up Nathan Horton has 17pims this yr Toronto is tougher
whether you like it or don't like it learn to live with it because its the best thing going today...

Spidey u of all people residing in the center of the universe has gotta have a feeling for Boston vs Toronto Spidey the Big Bad Bruins want no part of them and deep down u know this to be true... given there recent injuries and their piss poor play for about a month this isn't a good matchup for the bruins...

How nauseating...Leaf trolls all crawling out of the woodwork.

I think they may have a team capable of winning a round against a smaller, skilled type team but thinking that it's a gimme that they can intimidate a Stanley Cup championship team like the Boston Bruins into rolling over in fear of Colton Orr and Frazer fuckin McLaren is as ignorant as thinking Reimer will shine in the post season because he shuts out a bottom feeder like the Devils.

There's a reason that playoff experience is worth it's weight in gold. I suppose leaves fans can be excused though...seeing as they haven't had a team capable of contending since before the internet existed, before mullets were still considered cool, when there was 21 teams, before the gulf war, before fuel injection, etc etc etc...

Come back trumpeting your kazoos after you've actually accomplished anything

Vegas has the Bruins 9/11 favourites.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

Do you have a feeling that the Islanders or the Capitals will go very far? Because those are the only playoff teams with more goals against than Toronto. They've allowed 13 more goals than any of the playoff bound Canadian teams. Their GA is closer to the Oilers (TO @ 113, EDM @ 115).

What I'm trying to say is, when you're in the bottom-half of the league in GA, I don't like your chances of doing much in the playoffs. Especially away @ Boston, a better defensive team, with a better goalie, and a much better goal differential (same for Montreal BTW).

As Canucks fans know, scoring is harder in the playoffs.

I imagine we can forgive Leaf fans for this mistake. It's been a while
Well, the same can be said for Mikey dropping the ball for not bringing in a goal scorer by trading Luongo for one to help the Canucks deal with their scoring woes which has been their Achilles Heel. Roy's 5 goals ain't exactly helping in that department.

You can have all the set up guys in the world but if you lack the finishers what's the point? The leaves are 4th in scoring in the entire league in goals with only Montreal and Pittsburgh having more in their conference. Montreal has one more goal than the leaves. Where they might lack in Saves they will surely make up for it in offense. As we all know very well around here, goaltending means SHITE IF YOU CAN'T SCORE!

It will be raining buckets of Zoloft around here if Nonis team has more success in the Playoffs than Gillis team. We may have to remove all sharp objects within earshot of ukcanuck.

Well then that's why I am more qualified than you to tell you this team is playing beyond it's capability right now...not arguing they aren't a good young team but that's just it. They haven't proven jackshit yet people like you and BulgeDud swallow anything and everything that comes down the pipe about them.

Let's see...they beat the New Jersey Devils 2-0 Rhymie gets a SO stopping over 30 shots.
The Devils are one of the most if not the most anemic teams in the league right now.
Montreal is choking on everything right now yet the TML blows them out and they are the REAL DEAL.
Really? That's something to get excited about? The Bears do have some injuries right now but so will the Laughs, that's how the post-season rolls...

If I have learned one thing from living here it's Don't believe the hype (or are you planning a Raptors/Blue Jay championship parade too?! ).

Again, wait until round one is almost done and them comeback and tell us how this is a monster Stanley Cup contender (and hey, who wouldn't dream for a Laugh/Canuck Final? ).

Pacific Blue I hate the Laffs Hate em but I find it laughable that just 2 yrs ago the Bruins broke into our house had sex with our wife watched us curl up in the fetal position, then made us make them penut butter sandwiches for their trip home...

Yeah thats the team I want to cheer for Some Canuck fans our priceless... There is a bully on the block bigger and badder than the Bruins I don't care who it is I want the Bruins to get a little taste of what they hand out... If that makes me a bad Canuck fan so fuckin be it...

This isn't about who we hate more, I can't stand Marchand (the little woman actually knows his cousin and she says he's a funt).
It's about the reality distortion phallic member you seem to be enjoying with glee whilst engorging on it
I'm not concerned about DannyBoy anymore. That is THE reason MG got rid of that pansy hodgepodge and got that dickhead Kassian :D
We also have Pinz and Ses to do the shit work when the going gets tough, we didn't have that before...
The Laughs can only intimidate so much, Baroons have played this game oh too well...you better hope YOUR TML meets the Habs in the first 8-)
