Would you have moved Lack and Jensen for Pominville?

With the overwheliming impression that Luongo will have to be an off-season move? Yes.

Window is closing on this team and since my move to Calgary, I am becoming paranoid that we will entire the "we're not rebuilding even though we should" stage, in the next 4-5 years.

According to a couple of sports reporter friends (one at Rogers Arena), Roberto Luongo has been called off the ice. \

If you sell off all our legitimate prospects then yes our window is smaller and closing fast.

I don't believe that's the approach that should be taken though. True rebuilds are hit or miss, a constant replenishment through picks, prospects and free agent pick-ups is the way this franchise will go.

The fact that Luo will likely go in the offseason is why I wouldn't want to lose Lack. We need someone young to push Schneider 3-2 years down the line.

I wouldn't. No way do I give up top prospects for a guy that may or may not make much difference. How many times has trading serious futures for a Stanley cup run actually paid off..

I might trade lack and Jensen but only for a hockey trade and long term direction.

Yup.

No way should the Canucks sell the farm, especially with all the question marks this year.

Apparently Luo just went into visitors dressing room with PR folks....interesting

TSN saying no deal though. Maybe just some prep for facing barrage of reporters post-deadline.

According to Kuzma he was escorted by arena staff to a different part of the building than where the media are staked out. Maybe just so MG can say sorry.

Torres to SJS
The only HW the Canucks need

Bob McKenzie: Roberto Luongo has not been traded. He remains a Canuck.
