S_C had a career milestones thread for last year, and while I'm not sure if he's into starting another, this can be cut and pasted:

Henrik Sedin played his 588th consecutive game and now ranks seventh in NHL history for the longest ironman streak.

Impressive!

Luongo keeps rolling - and Schneider is moving up the ranks:

All-Time Canuck Wins

1. Luongo 224
2. McLean 211
3. Brodeur 126
4. Cloutier 109
5. Smith 72
6. Hanlon 43
7. Schneider 40

All-Time Canuck Shutouts

1. Luongo 33
2. McLean 20
3. Cloutier 14
4. Smith 11
5. Snow 6
5. Brodeur 6
7. Schneider 5
7. Hanlon 5

Luongo currently ranks 17th on the All-Time NHL Wins list with 339, and is within reach of Vachon at 355, and next season has a shot at passing Barrasso 369, Moog 372, Vanbiesbrouck 374, Vernon 385, and Hasek 389.

Luongo ranks 16th in NHL Shutouts with 60 just behind Turk Broda with 62, Patrick Roy 66, and Roy Worters 67.

Was checking where the Sedins rank on the All-Time NHL Scoring List

172. Henrik 751 points (tied with Craig Janney)
194. Daniel 724

If Henrik can put up somewhere around 40 more points this season, he would be in the neighbourhood of:

145. Ed Olczyk 794
146. Wayne Cashman 793
149. Rick Vaive 788

and in order to make the top 100 All-Time, currently he would have to top Peter Bondra's 892 points. Darn those lockouts.

As for All-Time NHL Assists

82. Henrik 580
184. Daniel 443

When you think about the general futility of the Canucks, it is heartening to see that Henrik ranks within the top 100 All-Time great playmakers of the NHL. If Henrik can register around 35 assists this season, he will be in pretty lofty territory with:

71. Sergei Zubov 619
72. Rod Gilbert 615
73. Michel Goulet 604

If Henrik and Daniel have 40 point seasons this year they'll be first and second for career points as a Canuck. :o

Yup Hank getting close, he's 3 pts back of Naslund's Canucks record of 756.
We've been here a lot of yrs. Sooner or later...you're going to catch up.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

The sellout crowd of at Rogers Arena saluted the Canucks' captain with a standing ovation while the teams lined up at center ice. The ovation continued even after play resumed -- it didn't stop for a full three minutes. When play was finally halted, he saluted the crowd.

"To be a part of something like that and getting a chance to get the record on home ice in front of your home fans, it was an honor and a great feeling out there," Sedin said after the game. "It means a lot to me."
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Henrik has now passed Markus when it comes to points as a Canuck, but Nazzy also played three seasons with Pittsburg and one with the Rangers, so he still has a slight edge in all time NHL points. It surprised me though that the twins have already reached the top ten in most points scored in the NHL by Swedish players:

1. Mats Sundin 1349 (564+785)
2. Nicklas Lidström 1142 (264+878)
3. Daniel Alfredsson 1090 (419+671)
4. Peter Forsberg 885 (249+636)
5. Markus Näslund 869 (395+474)
6. Tomas Sandström 856 (394+462)
7. Thomas Steen 817 (264+553)
8. Börje Salming 787 (150+637)
9. Henrik Sedin 757 (171+586)
10. Daniel Sedin 730 (283+446)

Henrik is likely to pass Salming this season!
