Just responding to the people (the HOMERS) who are now trying to say Cory Schneider isn't even very good.
I don't think anyone said that Schneider is not good. He is just not proven to be in the elite level yet, with only 98 regular seasons and 10 playoffs games played.

It is widely agreed that he is on step 6/10 to be a elite Goaltender...

no need to say that he "isn't" as he will be.

Schneider should have you as his agent. :) He would have gotten $7m per year instead of $4m.

Finally one that can be somewhat justified.

The other three are a joke.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

He was good but he's no Jeff Tambellini.

Seriously though, by far the best Canuck ever and congrats Pavel.

The summit was interesting stuff.

The condensed vid clips provided by the club save viewing time, but also simplify & peddle cool-aid. The full summit (strangely enough) provides more.

Torts: emphasized that training camp is for testing emotional strength as well as physical ability; re-affirmed support for the up-tempo game, & the need to get more offence out of Edler; said they're going to ask for more from the core (without relying on yelling); said results are measured by playoff success; backed up to clarify why Pavel Kubina cried under his watch (frustration) - for the back biting media.

Gillis said that Luongo felt thrown under the bus after the 2011 SCF.

Get ready to go to work boys, comfy summer camp is over ....

Less Canucks embarrassment please.

RFA Weise avoids arbitration for second straight year. Gets one-year deal, raise from $615,000 to $750,000. #canucks

I would rather play with a shortened bench than Weise in the lineup.

Thanks for the Summit link. In amongst the nice warm handjobs was a few nuggets of info.

Torts is the bold move.

Tanev, Schroeder and Weise (announced this morning) are done.

These deals mean a full lineup but roster spots are still open for the youngsters.

Will not be pursuing vet depth help as that takes spots from the kids.

Big part of Torts hiring was his ability to get youngsters into the lineup. Torts says a big part of that is the work of Sullivan.

No to Brule getting a PTO as he offers nothing that isn't already in the organization.

Bobby Lou is fine.

A belief that Bo may make the roster. Thought he may go at #5.

Equal roars of laughter at Daly saying the league tells the refs that nothing changes for calling playoff hockey, a slicked downed de Bonis commenting on preseason ticket prices for seasons ticket holders.

Daly's excuse for the refs was # of new guys to the fold with the change to a two ref system, whats greater consistency from 1st period through 3rd period. Also said playoffs are different from regular season - live with it.

A good slam from GMMG directed at the TO media and TSN particularly regarding the goaltending trade rumour mill.

Horseface (could be Camillia's mother) season ticket holder lamented CoHo trade was slammed by Gillis and then taken to the alley and beaten by another season ticket holder.

Many of the season ticket holders and their friends seem to be of the cell phone to the ear, waving to the TV camera ilk.

He's a very serviceable 4th liner making peanuts - what's your issue with that? He's not Crosby or Gretzky?
