Damn did I laugh when Tommy Terrific tried the Foppa on Fluery.
I think that showed presence of mind from the big guy and a hell of a lot more creativity than D. Sedin's last shootout attempt.
"Accidentally" blowing a tire and sliding into the goaltender while the puck squeaks across the line would be showing more creativity than Daniel's last shootout move.
I liked seeing that from Sestito, it shows that a guy is playing with confidence, and had he scored, everyone would want to see him with the Sedins.
That leaves 14 healthy forwards including Burrows. Torts has already said Booth and Weise will be sitting out at least one more game. That leaves little doubt that Burrows will be back in the lineup tomorrow.
I sure hope you are right...
Probably stupid but I just dumped Craig Smith and added Burrows on my Yahoo fantasy team...!
The guy is still listed as injured reserve, but if I wait till tomorrow, lots of people will attempt to pick him up if it's announced he'll play. Also, I had to bench two forwards on Saturday and one on Sunday, which are days Smith play, but I have empty slots on Friday and Monday, so if Burrows joins the team and plays on Friday, I'll gain two starts. I think it's worth the gamble!
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.

Hank said Burrows looked good in practice, stone hands and all.
I have no idea how Hank is being cleared when he can't even take a faceoff.
Perhaps Santorelli should be taking them instead of Dank, being a center and all.
Guess him playing hurt is better than any replacement...but what about the big picture?

I'd like to hope its not that, but it definitely looks that way. Something that means nothing.
I'd prefer a healthy Hank in the spring and let go of the streak. Even if he has a broken finger he'll probably play in the Olympics anyways.

Probably worth pointing out that Fox is in a rare situation being a prospect with actual talent who didn't have any option other than playing his overage season in the OHL due to Brian-will-shut-the-board-down-if-we-talk-about-it types of reasons..
Otherwise he'd have been drafted and would be in the AHL this year.

Will he be our new Tony Tanti?

Ya, he made some questionable decisions as a teenager that landed him in some hot water. He has dealt with his behaviour and the consequences and moved on. He seems more and more determined to show a lot of people they made a mistake in not drafting him.
