No word from the Canucks yet on either Vrbata or Kassian but to recall Jensen someone needs to be on LTIR, perhaps Sestito on LTIR and Kassian and Vrbata day to day.

Do you mean IR? Capgeek says the Canucks have plenty of cap space to bring Jensen back up. One of those guys might have to go on plain-ol IR (7 days) to free up the roster space. LTIR would mean missing 10 games and 24 days, and getting the ability to exceed the cap (if required).

Thanks, Ya I meant to clear a roster spot, not cap. They have plenty of cap, for a change. But they do need a roster spot and I am assuming it is Sestito who is on IR as his injury was said to be more serious that Bieksa's eye injury.

But Vrbata looked liked he really tweaked his knee so I am curious to see a report on him. I doubt they call Jensen up without having a spot for him. But of course it is back to backs so it may be just a roster move as a precaution that both Kassiand and Vrbata can't go.
