"If Luongo considering not joining Canucks, his only recourse is to sit out since under contract until 3035 when robots will be playing hockey."

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
Re: Canucks News and Notes
When asked what the options are on Luongo, Gillis says: "Either play or don't play". #Canucks @CKNW

Re: Canucks News and Notes
That is so true. Luongo signed the contract and should be professional enough to honour it.SKYO wrote:When asked what the options are on Luongo, Gillis says: "Either play or don't play". #Canucks @CKNW

Considering all of the garbage thrown his way after he killed the bear, I think his response is hilarious. So I have to agree with ukcanuck.ukcanuck wrote:Im thinking its way over your headJelloPuddingPop wrote:Not sure if this was posted elsewhere - but here's one for RD:

Moose Meat all of them. Seriously, I hope they help our AHL team, else the Moose are gonna feed on them. Maybe a depth call-up or two in the group, but nothing serious, and nothing in the starting line-uptantalum wrote:Canucks sign UFAs Jeremie Blain, Alex Biega, Pascal Pelletier to Two-Way Deals

Well, they may not be bright shinning stars but they are certainly comets!
The only HW the Canucks need
Re: Canucks News and Notes
Cody Sylvester. My brother just started raving about him. From what he has found and the little I've found, I'm very interested in this kid.
Re: Canucks News and Notes
Not that it matters much, but Sweatt just signed with Brynas of the SHL (same team as Rodin by the way).I wouldn't be shocked to see Sweatt qualified as well as he is a decent AHL guy.
Yeah... rather pointless with links in Swedish but I thought should post some kind of source... guess you just have to trust me on this one...

Re: Canucks News and Notes
Also explains why they had no issues qualifying him. Allows him to go to Europe and maybe develop while they keep control of his rights. And if he stayed in NA he would have been a good addition to the Comets.Bret H wrote:Not that it matters much, but Sweatt just signed with Brynas of the SHL (same team as Rodin by the way).I wouldn't be shocked to see Sweatt qualified as well as he is a decent AHL guy.

Same as Rodin...qualifying allows them to keep control of his NHL rights. Forgot about that when the qualifiers were announced.

Bill Sweatt declined his qualifying offer from the #Canucks and signed with Brynas in Sweden.
