A 28 years old, 6'2" 209 lbs right winger, played 44 NHL games with 2 goals and 9 assists. Hmm... Comet?Brad Ziemer @BradZiemer
Benning says #Canucks bringing in winger JT Wyman on personal tryout contract. He's a right winger with 44 games of NHL experience.

More NHL experience and goals than the guy we have slotted into our 3rd line center.Jovocop wrote:A 28 years old, 6'2" 209 lbs right winger, played 44 NHL games with 2 goals and 9 assists. Hmm... Comet?Brad Ziemer @BradZiemer

Re: Canucks News and Notes
JT Wyman is 28 and scored 18 goals 4 seasons ago in the 80 AHL games. That is the highest output in his hockey career. In 387 AHL games, Wyman scored 67 goals and 90 assists, 0.41 ppg.Cornuck wrote:More NHL experience and goals than the guy we have slotted into our 3rd line center.Jovocop wrote:A 28 years old, 6'2" 209 lbs right winger, played 44 NHL games with 2 goals and 9 assists. Vey is only 23 and had success in the AHL. In his first AHL season, Vey scored 19 goals in 74 games. In 191 AHL games, he scored 55 goals and put up 103 assists. That is 0.83 ppg, pretty impressive for a kid who just turned 23 two months ago.

Benning said the fact so many younger players can't make camp, ie in college or injured, he may bring in 1-2 on PTO contracts to increase camp size. I think initially that's all it is but ya, Comet fodder if he makes it.

Re: Canucks News and Notes
Wouldn't our 3rd line Center slot be taken already by Richardson or Mathais??
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.
Re: Canucks News and Notes
From 2nd line to 4th line, the centre spots are up for grab between Bonino, Vey, Matthias, Richardson, Gaunce and Horvat. Bonino should centre the 2nd line. Both Matthias and Vey will challenge for the third line and one will play wing. Gaunce, most likely will start with the Comets. Richardson is more suitable to be the 4th line centre. If Horvat makes the team, Hansen or Matthias will most likely be moved to make room.Madcombinepilot wrote:Wouldn't our 3rd line Center slot be taken already by Richardson or Mathais??
Sedin Sedin Vrbata
Burrows Bonino Kassian
Higgins Vey/Matthias/Horvat Hansen/Vey/Matthias
Matthias? Richardson Dorsett

No kidding. I did a cut and past and saved in my notes so I can refer back. But at least we get to see all the games, well those with the full HD package do anyway.Benjo wrote:Holy christ what a gong show programming system.Hockey Widow wrote:I wasn't sure where to put this, or if it has been posted already.....
