I went to school with Mike, he and I were the same size at the time, I grew, and I'm stirred, not shaken.

The pilot I shot was by the producers of the Beachcombers...named Italian Express, a blonde blue eyed bucktoothed aryan kid (8 years old) crosses the wrong side of the East Van tracks one day and winds up with a crazy Italiano family (like BDs! :D )....it never got picked up...until the producers resurrected it under the Leo moniker and that is as they say is his story...

I'm not bitter...Michael (NEWMAN!) ....

Grabner with his 4th goal last night in only his 6th game! On pace for 32 in 48 games. Not bad.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Interesting thread when you consider RoyalDude's 2nd post after the migration to this here site:

You will all like the Corner version of Royal, much more professional. Stay tuned.

Hodgson 6GP / 3G / 0A / +0 / 4 hits / 4 PIM / 21 shots / 14.3 S%
Kassian 7GP / 5G / 0A / +0 / 16 hits* (excluding tonight's game) / 12PIM / 15 shots / 30.0 S%

So far so good for Kassian. :D

He's not going to be scoring on 1/3 of his shots all year.

Hopefully fans can keep things perspective when he goes dry for a few games. Or for that matter if he disappears entirely, as young players can be expected to do.

Hodgson's FO % right now is at a cool 37.9%,the only Buffalo Sabre over 42% is Steve Ott at 62%. If Cody was still here he'd still be getting sheltered O zone starts, you know how AV loves his faceoff wins.

The Sabres are not good down the middle and when Hecht does his annual Salo, they will be in even worse shape.

Correct, but he's also not going to go the whole season with zero assists.

Kassians goal production will fall like a rock (especially if he doesn't increase his shot per game totals) but if he keeps playing at the same level he will start getting assists.

The Sedins are currently shooting around 7% when they normally combine for around 13%.

Either way Canuck fans should be doing back flips about Kassian's play so far this season. He's scoring goals, making plays, hitting, fighting, back checking.

If this is how he's going to play moving forward the complexion of our forward group changes dramatically.

couldnt be happier with kassian, really! he will slide though he has to. But like you say I personally dont think there is anything besides youth and experience to hold him back..But i believe he will turn out to be that power forward we only dreamed about...maybe not dreamt about entirely but at least dreamed about in this particular trade.. well done Mr. Kassian
