Thus he is a Swedish player, and suggesting anything else is just silly.
And Brett Hull is what? American then?

I never suggested he wasn't a Swedish player, just that he is Canadian born, and therefore a Canadian. ;)

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

"It's Groundhog Day for me," Schneider said. "I can't seem to escape it. I'm just trying to work hard and do what I can. I''d just like to see the ice a bit more is all."

Uppity ginger…. or is he just panicking again? :mex:

Gotta feel for him. The way Marty is playing he may not be ready to retire after this season as many predicted. If he comes back another year it will be interesting to see what Cory does when he is UFA. I think the assumption was that Marty would be done when this contract was up but it could get interesting. Maybe he ends up in Philly   with something to prove.

No kidding and management gives itself a high five. Let's bring a legitimate blue chipper into the organization because we feel Brodeur is developing a paunch and not treating hockey as serious as he should be and it seems like the only people that really care are the poolies.

And Brodeur goes, oh fuck, i still got that lambo I need to pay off, betta get my shit together.

And Schneid gets screwed.

Has Mason Raymond sent Johnny Boychuk flowers?

Blackhawks get Mashinter from Rangers for Beach

Well, Chicago has officially given up on Kyle Beach - remember him? There was talk that the Canucks were considering drafting Beach in 2008 but took Hodgson instead... good move.

Chicago sent Beach to Sweden on a tryout when he didn't make the NHL club in training camp, and clearly didn't want him around their winning AHL farm club when he was sent back.

Sounds like Shea Weber will be wearing a visor when he returns from his eye injury.

Makes me wish Canuck players who still choose to go without a visor would just get on with it and do so.

Yeah, it's stupid. In general, players only start wearing visors after they've had an eye injury.

It's a bit like buying home insurance after your house burns down....
