Jesus Joe, don't hold back, tell us what you really think. While you're at it, why not try to create a giant distraction while you're trying to concentrate on getting into the playoffs?

This guy has "future Maple Leaf captain" stamped all over him.

Thornton and Marleu for Kessel and Dianna. Get er done.

Please stop pretending you don't still love the leaves. You've probably got a signed Kessel pic in the basket of your Rascal.

Yes, he knows exactly where he is right now, but, will he be able to find him in June? That is the question.
Gotta think this is the end of Doug Wilson in San Jose. Thornton isn't going anywhere thanks to his NTC/NMC, and with the Sharks likely to miss the playoffs I could see management and coaching getting the boot.

Also Rumblings that Wilson lobbied for Pavelski to take over the captaincy, and that McLellan obviouly resisted.

I'm just happy that all the drama is surrounding other teams (Toronto, San Jose) for a change.

If Jumbo wants to shut Wilson's mouth, he should score 4 goals in a game and then go find his GM.

Joe knows exactly where he is... and chances are, Wilson is already on his knees from the fans calling for his scalp.

Agreed IN, it really is nice to see other teams experience the drama for a change.

Well, I will be cheering for the leaves tonight. For a couple of reasons. One, I want Calgary to lose. Second, i don't want the leaves to get a lottery pick. Does thst still make me a closet leaves fan?

Would have been better if Kadri had said this about Shanny

... but hey, I'm still loving the drama!

I am coming to this terrible character assassination of The Widow regarding her alleged sordid past of being a Leaf fan. If this is true, then the foundations of the world will topple and the seas boil over leaving the putrid steam of anguish in the polluted air.

On the other hand....meh. I loved Johnny Bowers when I was in boy clothes. Before the Strangelove or spidey ask, it was not that kind of love. I just liked the way he played goal and I still remember the leaves when they were good. They had some great players like Horton, Mahovilich, Sittler, Macdonald and many others. This was before we had an NHL team and all you really had to choose from as a good old Canadian boy were the Habs or leaves. I chose T.O.

As an aside it is worth noting how boring T.O. used to be before they became the center of the Universe back when the FLQ frightened all the money to run from Montreal to Ontario. Now Toronto is a good town to be in if you are not a sports fan. Lots of good food and the best entertainment in Canada. Still love Van the best but gotta give props where they are due.

Remembers when East Van was 90% Toronto fans... I enjoyed temporary riches by betting Montreal.. My hate for Toronto goes way back to the days when Fred Hume put in for the first expansion and Toronto killed the deal .. They didn't want to share TV profits .. So we got a WHA team instead.. and the Canucks won a cup in the WHL :)
