Habs lock up at Gallagher at a very reasonable 3.75M per for 6 years

I think he is worth a second round pick and would pick his game up with a real teamHank wrote: Isn't Anisimov the type of player the Oilers already have too many of?

The Oiler mgmt are incredibly, arrogantly stupid. Do they think they are smarter than everyone else? Do they see something the whole entire hockey world doesn't? Yakupov is a bust, Ansimov is not the answer, Draisaitl should be back in the WHL. Taylor Hall is a turnover machine, puts the blinders on when he has the puck and still thinks he can beat NHL men one on one like he did with teenagers in the OHL. String bean RNH is not a no. 1 centre. Schultz is awful. Eberle can't play defence, doesn't care too. Their core forwards are wimpy smurfs with no back bone. Their defence is the worst in the league, their 12 forwards are the worst in the league at the 200 foot game. Their goalies are not even good enough to be NHL back ups. Who are they kidding. MacT says last season was a debacle, what is this season? Do they think an 18 year old teenager like McDavid is going to make things better next season? He does nothing to help their defence and goaltending. Katz is a moron for letting that moronic mgmt group last this long. After seasons end this will be the 9th year in a row where they have finish in the bottom 12 of the NHL, 3 of those the worst in the league, one the 3rd worst, one the 6th, one the 7th, a 10th and a 12th. Looks this year they are poised finish top 3 worst in the league, ain't that something.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

I love the move from bold moves in April 2013 to we can't make huge changes.
With the number of coach/GM changes, its clear that there is no mandate to trade the "core" players, which exposes the stubbornness of the numty who was really behind the drafting decisions and is the only constant in all the years of fail, Kevin Lowe.

Claude Noel to coach the Vancouver Giants.

Must have been a set upIsland Nucklehead wrote:TSN is reporting the Oilers and Blue Jackets are working on a trade that would send David Perron to Columbus for Artem Anisimov.
Perron has two goals and eight assists in 22 games this season with the Oilers, his second year with the team. The Sherbrooke, Quebec, native has two years left on his current contract.
Anisimov, 26, has two goals and four assists over 14 games with Columbus this season. He also has two years left on his contract.

Kings fine $100,000 for allowing Voynov to skate with the team during an "optional" practice while he is suspended.
