Saturday night's contest between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Boston Bruins has been postponed due to an extreme winter storm that hit the eastern part of North America and the state of emergency that has been placed in effect in the Boston area.
The game, which was originally scheduled to begin at 1pm et on Saturday, and was first pushed back to 7pm et before eventually being wiped out.
Both teams are already on the schedule for Sunday as the Lightning will be in New York to take on the Rangers, while the Bruins are headed on the road to face the Buffalo Sabres.
The NHL announced that the game will be played at a later date which has yet to be determined.

Left with the rank 2nd lieutenant.
Now drop and give me twenty.
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!

Jamie Benn went 129th! Probably a top 10 pick if you could do it over
I'd have to say if it was yours truly I would be picking Jamie Benn 1st overall in that draft.....knowing what we now know. Some people may like a Patty Kane or a Logan Couture better but I believe Benn will be the best of these kids.
it was kind of a shitty draft year for the NHL but a REALLY shitty draft year in Vancouver. I do remember people scratching their heads at the choice of Carole James by Vancouver though. Nonis went way off the board for that pick.
