With the rumours that Florida could be big players on both Panarin and Bobrovsky come July (if they hit UFA), do you think there's a chance that Lou digs his heels in and refuses to retire forcing the Cats to buy him out? That would be the best case scenario for the Canucks.

Well I once (or thrice) predicted Florida would eventually buy out Luongo... so I hope so.Mëds wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 8:57 pm With the rumours that Florida could be big players on both Panarin and Bobrovsky come July (if they hit UFA), do you think there's a chance that Lou digs his heels in and refuses to retire forcing the Cats to buy him out? P.S. Had you watched the Pens/leaves' game, you might have heard the on-air discussion of a possible move to wing for McCann when Malkin comes back.

From Tweener McCann to Journeyman McCann

Devils trade Boyle to Preds for 2nd.
And;
The Predators are re-acquiring Cody McLeod from the Rangers for I believe a 7-th RD pick. Trade call hasn't happened yet.

So if Boyle is worth a 2nd, what's Sutter worth?

Frank Seravalli on Oilers cap situation, they may have to waive Chia's recent acquisitions.
As Oilers examine cap solutions to activate Sekera from LTIR after conditioning stint, cleanest option (short of a trade) may well be to waive and demote both Brandon Manning and Alex Petrovic.
Clears necessary space. (Also: Undoes Chiarelli's last two trades.)
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
