That is a very good play by Kassian, apparently he had a monster hit as well.

Been a long time since the Canucks had a skill player that could/would bury a guy like that and come up swinging.

The sequence at 10:25 here is pretty nice too:

Uses his size to control play down low before getting the puck out to the slot to set up a goal.

Nice hit. Kind of reminds me of the Getzlaf on Hamhuis hit from a couple years ago, left his feet a lil.

I wonder if the Canucks have the rights to Nathan Longpre. He's off to a good start and I remember him potting a few goals in the Canucks training camp last year. He seems to have a nice touch around the net. Although his stats were kind of average for his rookie season with the Wolves, it'll be interesting to see how he does this year.

@ important places to keep your head up, coming around the back of the net and cutting through the slot with the puck on your stick

Sweet nice to see badass Kassian doing his thang, ZK should make it a point to make one big hit every game,so as he won't disappear for a game(s), as Buffalo fans alluded to.

And who is this Longpre fella?
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

He came out of college hockey. I know the Canucks invited him to training camp last season and he looked pretty good, but not sure if they offered him a contract or just told him to sign with the wolves. If he works hard on his game, hopefully he'll become another burrows type player in a couple years. :P

Zach appears to have lost his chipmunk cheeks and his play looked more Raffi Torres than Cody Hodgson.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

There's a name I really missed. Boy, a line of Torres-Lappiere-Kassian would of been pretty fun to watch.

Why not post it?

I think the issue is posting streams of Canucks games that are supposed to be PPV or network cable on this site. I don't think anyone can pay to watch the Wolves play can they?

Could be wrong though.

The highlights should be up in the Wolves website in a few hours after the game.
