That isn't what they offered.
What they offered was to remove linkage and to raise the cap by a small percentage in each of the next 3 years.
That isn't taking a pay cut that's guaranteeing yourself a raise.

Judging by the most recent info on the latest offers it's looking more and more like the PA is unwilling to negotiate.
I love how when the NHL offers a change and increases the percentage in an effort to start moving towards a 50/50 split in revenues that all Fehr does is say that the NHL has gone from offerring what would be a huge pay cut to what would now be a very large pay cut. He's an idiot. So are the players who back him. If the PA's next proposal doesn't move towards 50/50 then you know that the players are being just as greedy as the owners.

How many of those businesses are really owned by the owners, or are they just partially owned by the owners?? Boycotting those businesses in most cases is either impossible ( wanna quit working for one of the energy companies, anyone??), or just stupid. Most mutual funds own shares in a lot of the companie slisted. Gonna sell those???
I like the idea and the sentiment, but it makes less sense than boycotting gas stations becuse the price of gas goes up for no reason.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!
