You were a big supporter of the Burrows contract as well Booby:

Would you add Rats' comment (because Rats can not be added to any list) on Hall of Famer and League Department of Player Safety employee to the list?
pronger stomping on kesler..that shit is the worst intent to injure low life scum sucking pigshit...that shit is beyond anything like the 'antics " of which we speak. we speak of kindergarten moves compared to that...
...........because, according to HFBlooby, Burrows bring League scrutiny and scorn to the organization.........

No, Rats' comment does not make the Crystal Ball list.

It does however make the Ironic Foreshadowing list. :D

And of course the phrase "intent to injure low life scum sucking pigshit" is in a category of it's own!

It's nice to see players like Doan stay loyal to their organization instead of chasing waterfalls. Hope they never trade him.

Good old school guy to keep around, what with the ridiculous amount of high-end prospects they have in the pipe.

So would you rather have Doan at 5 per year or Burrows @ 4.5 ?

At the time, I was arguing we sign both!

(albeit at slightly less dollars each)

I and others were presenting ways to make it work with the cap.

When your man Gillis lost out on Doan, he immediately signed Burrows (eve of the lockout)

... so I'm guessing Gillis was thinking "one or the other"... and that he preferred Doan.

Hey, I was arguing hard for Doan at the time!!

I recall accusing my buddy RD of not wanting Doan based on fears of him starting a cult with Booth + Hamhuis.
