Hey I probably should have said a "good right wing government"...liking your politics on the right side of the spectrum doesn't automatically make one any better at running a government. :)

I don't know why people are up in arms about Doan, I'm as glad as all hell he didn't sign here. Too fucking old and too expensive.
Yeah Burrows is a way better bang for the buck . Doan has 14 goals . Does the biter even have 14 points ?

I definitely prefer Vrbata in the playoffs. He was dynamite against Calgary last year.

15 goals for Doan Pacific Blue .

While you are dancing around the Ivanhoe hopped up on rubbing alcohol a near 40 year old man is on pace for 30 + goals and you are glad we didn't sign him .

Back to Doan. Damn glad the old man hit pay dirt somewhere else. The old man experiment doesn't work here, see Sundin, and Messier.

Anyhow, a real successful off-season for Mike Gillis. I shouldn't be to dower about it. The Burrows extension is good for this organization. I mean Gillis is a real pro at re-signing previous managements players, I just wish he was better at making his own mark here instead of riding on the coat-tails of Nonis and Burke.

I dohope that the Garrison signing doesn't prove that making deals for Florida Panther players end up being shite acquisitions for us.
Lol

Just when HF Blooby was turning a corner he falls off the wagon faster than Skyo at his first potlatch and is back searching for Livingston.

Shane Doan would have been a quality free agent signing in 2012 . A lot moreso than the biter , that's for sure .

If we believe the rumours Vancouver was right in it till the end . As for his cap hit its not much different than the biters . I was pointing it out for the dudes benefit . He bitches constantly about Burrows contract but he was a big supporter of it when it was signed .
