...and Kassian may not even be a regular this season. Who is to say what the AV 8 ball will say.
I am all for adding a tough scoring winger, just hope Gillis is somehow able to swing that.
Oh yeah, and Weber....

Daniel Alfredsson would look mighty good with the twins. The opportunity to win a cup with them (& a hefty raise) may be enough to lure him from retirement.
Given the esteem with which Ottawa holds him (the desire to see him go out in style), & limited leverage, the price for his rights may be reasonable.

Not saying that Homer is the one player we need, but having him park his big ass in front of the other team's goalie on a power play is a thing of beauty. And he's available.

Reading some Wings blogs (on Kukla's Korner) they seem to really think he lost a step last season. Plus that makes us even older than if we go after Doan... isn't Homer 38-39?Per wrote:Not saying that Homer is the one player we need, but having him park his big ass in front of the other team's goalie on a power play is a thing of beauty. He definitely wasn't what I was hoping for after the trade, but he is young and has some time to develop. Also, his conditioning pretty bad last year so maybe some time on the Canuck conditioning program will help.Blob Mckenzie wrote:Kassian is awful

Do some people still not realize Blob is screwing with them? He's just having some fun.......Gino's Knuckle wrote:He definitely wasn't what I was hoping for after the trade, but he is young and has some time to develop. It took me a second at first, but I get quite a chuckle out of Blob these days.
