That's the main thing.....
i am still pissed that we have numbers hanging in the rafters...it should be empty...
I think all 3 guys deserve to have their numbers up there. All 3 guys were excellent hockey players and were model citizens within the community. Impeccable charity work, combined with great character. Maybe it's just me, but I think organizational acknowledgement is more than just 'cups won' and hockey accolades.
33 and 22 should be up there as well in a few years.

no they dont...time will tell with the Sedins...we win a Cup...the jerseys go up...
Given how the Canucks' criteria for jersey's being retired has already been established (i.e. 'quality human beings' and 'leadership' over hockey accolades), I think the twins' jersey's are going to go up regardless..............so that there's consistency.

Yeah I could argue for 19 well before the other two but even he isn't deserving .
I LOVED Stan but the dude was Tiger Williams with class and a wrist shot is all.
I love how people try to say Trevor desereved it. Helloooooo kids he was a 50 point player who had a few good years and helped a few mongoloids to some games that they wouldn't have to take the short bus to.
It's Pavel or bust for retired numbers in this town. Maybe dirty 30.
If the C's decide to retire a number I will be screaming for Jerry Willard's digit to be up in the rafters at the Nat.
