He gets a pass on 2 of the 4 in game 7. The team still loses 2-0.

Game 7, Hank scores on that first PP and it is a different game. Nothing Luongo could have done on that play.

Of course if Ehrhoff doesn't have a dislocated shoulder, if Hamhuis is playing, if Edler doesn't have 3 broken fingers, if Kesler has a good hip, if Burrows shoulder is ok, if Samuellson is healthy....

Ya I still blame it on all the injuries.

Well if he could handle the puck he might have been able to headman it and catch them napping....
It's all Luongos' fault.

Hank had an open net and pulled a Glass, missed the puck. Just saying.

I can't believe we're still talking about this.....

What about Messier's vicious cross-check to Linden as he was trying to get off the ice back in game 7 of 94. Now that was some bullshit....

I think I saw hank checking his own end alot...he still felt guilty for taking the C off of Luongos' helmet and must have been nervously checking if he's still pissed...
So you see it's ALWAYS Luongos' fault... even the lockout must be as well....somehow

Just heard on Wolves play-by-play that Markstrom hasn't been playing that well and has sat more than played. I checked and he has a GAA over 3 and is over .900 in S%, albeit in only 2 appearances. His partner has 3 starts.
I think following his progress for San Antonio could be quite relevant to the Luongo trade saga and if he appears to stumble at all then Florida becomes the prime destination. They definitely have the better assets as far as Vancouver should be concerned.

excellent point

one would also ahve to wonder about a Luongo, Nonis - Burke link. Nonis is likely sold on Luongo since he brought him here in the first place... an like other s have said copiously, Burke is fucked w/o Luongo... he can't be that stupid that he doesn't realize that!? Maybe it'll be a three way? Van to TO and then TO to FLA and FLA to Van.. ? itime will tell i guewss... but really, they're all stupid bastards anyways ... frikin lockout...jeeesus

Well Burke can be stubborn and acquiring goaltending is not his strong suite. Vancouver? Goaltending problems. Anaheim? He was lucky to inherit Giguere. Allaire pushed Burke to sign Hiller and Burke gave up Bryzgalov for nothing. Toronto? Goaltending problems. if there's a guy Burke likes he's very much willing to pay the price. But I won't count on Burke being willing to give up what it takes to acquire a good goaltender like Luongo. Burke is funny that way sometimes.

How is Burke fucked without Luongo exactly? They're rebuilding and have a trio of very good young goalies/prospects in net.

What will Luongo do for Toronto? Get them to fight for 8th and screw-up their rebuilding plans.

us, Burke will never take on that terrible Luongo contract. Neither will a team bleeding money like Florida. Luongo is virtually worthless.
Meh , we're splitting hairs here but I would say they didn't have a great playoffs. One say could Kesler as well only had one decent series if we only look at offence.

I'm done on this .... no more highjacking from me.

I don't think we will get both Gardiner and a 1st ,I think it will be either a 1st/Gardiner/Rielly and other assets. Just my opinion. I do not want ANY of Colborne, Kadri or Kulemi or Bozek....... all crap pieces and fatso Burke can keep them.

I would do Gardiner and Biggs
Rielly and Ashton
1st, Finn, +

If Burke wants to add in garbage and shit he can beat it.

There is also the option of Gillis adding in Hansen who has a great value contract and upside if that's what it takes to get a deal done. Vancouver is loaded with 2/3 line tweeners.
Wow! You guys are delusional.
