At least the 3 day break in our series means that the Canucks won't be the first team facing prospect of elimination in a game 5 situation. I think Pittsburgh and Chicago are both done. Philly is going to come back HARD after being embarassed like that at home and that 5th game in Pittsburgh will be an ugly one. The Coyotes have all the momentum and are going back home, though I suppose home ice is meaningless in Phoenix where more than half the fans in the building are cheering for the visiting team.....

In our series I think LA knows they have to come in and play the game of their lives. They just weathered the storm in LA and they know they were very lucky to get the win in game 1, and they really need to be sending any playoff bonuses to Edler as a thank you for his stellar work as an undercover King. Sutter is likely telling his troops that they do NOT want to come back to LA where the Canucks have an opportunity to force game 7 because LA has not been very good in must win games this year.

Silfverberg (see other side of the pond thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8021 ) will fly to Ottawa on Sunday and may join the team for game six vs the Rangers. He's hoping they'll let him play and that it'll be more than just one game...

I agree with you about Chicago but I'm not so sure about Pitsburgh. It's simple pyschology - if you lose to a team by 1 or 2 goals it's not really a big deal, but if you lose to a team by 7+ goals, you pretty much know what their cock taste's like and that pretty much changes the entire complexion of the series. Canucks vs. Bruins from last year is a good example of this unfortunately. To add to this, as much as we have crapped on Lou in the past for being mentally weak, Ilya Brizgalov is a signficantly bigger head case......and that other goalie that Philly has ain't Corey Schneider. ;)

As much as I don't want to admit it, I think Pitsburgh has the best chance of coming back from 3-1 to take the series out of all the teams that are currently down 3-1.

Meh.

Pitts was up 3-0 game one and lost.

Then lost by a combined 16-9 over the next two games.

They too have tasted cock.

..there is talk that Ilya fucked his hip and is a g t d.

Not sure if it's incestuous or gay.
It's a creepy motto either way.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

I'll have to respectfully disagree.

There's a difference between having a sniff (close games, close losses), and having it jammed down your throat (6+ goal differential)

Or so I've been told. :look:

Yes and no.

No for obvious reasons - but 'yes' in the sense that Pitsburgh could have and should have won most (all?) of those games. Very rarely does a team lose by that much after jumping out to reasonably large leads.
