This is quite a contrast from how minimal impact guys like Craig Mactavish, Kevin Lowe, and Craig Simpson act at times.

As a coach, MacT gets a pass on that. It's his job to critique players and call a spade a spade. Frankly I wish Vigneault was as good at calling out a slumping player. MacT would have benched Raymond a long time ago, and Rome would never play ahead of Ballard. Luongo would also ride pine alot quicker than he does at times.....as he should.

As a commentator I found MacT a bit lame, but he was generally quick to point out a player's strengths and talk about what the guy needed to do to get back to being effective his his particular role.....if I remember correctly that is.

Lowe a partial pass because he was GM.....albeit a lousy one.

Y'know I am used to anti-Canuck sentiment on CBC so I easily ignore Cunt Simpson's simmering hatred for all things Canuck (no doubt his way of sucking up to Albertan viewers since he still lives there, does local adds in Edmonupchuk & Calpuke). But when one of the most lily-livered yellow-bellied weak-kneed cowering gutless chicken-shit pussies in NHL history suggests on a national broadcast that some player should be less of a pussy....
