I can totally see Lou and Sitch hitting the bars and Luongo missing girls as they float right by him.

it sounds like hodgson was becoming lindros lite with his father. good for gillis to get rid of a big problem down the line. clarkie aged 20 years after dealing with lindros. food poisoning in chicago eh? more like the team got bit by the old phantom shit finger in the food scenario. probably the food service guys were big squack fans.

Its funny that the Canucks get food poisoning in Chicago, when unauthorized people are coming into the dressing room, and you barely hear about it.

Meanwhile in Boston, covers get ripped off media guides in the press box and its national news....

Wow HW is getting some run on hf boards.

I got run off hf boards. They don't appreciate a decent sense of humor there.

There seems to be a couple of bitter folks over there when it comes to HW. Not sure why.

It's about 2 posters who are bitter, I'm assuming noobs who got owned on the old cc, haha.

HW rocks!

If luongo falters in the playoffs again, I think MG will see if he can work out a deal in the offseason to send him somewhere out East.

All eastern teams being equal, I wonder what Ottawa would think of a Luongo + Rodin (mid prospect) for Craig Anderson + Patrick Wiercioch style deal?

LMFAO. I think you will be quite surprised by what Luongo will get you in return if he is traded this off-season, shit why not throw in Jensen in your Ottawa proposal as well. Why the fuck is Connolly a long shot? What the fuck has he done in the NHL???? I could see maybe Hedman being a long shot cause Tampa has issues with goaltending and Defense, but not at the forward position (They just signed highly touted forward prospect Namestnikov yesterday). An unproven rookie forward who isn't exactly setting the world on fire is not too much to ask for in a Luongo trade, seriously dude, in fact it's quite a lot less of what the Canucks will get back if Lou is traded. Teams with serious goaltending issues will salivate and the bidding war will go up in a big way if Gillis puts the word out at the draft that Luongo is available.

Even IF Luongo waives, we can't trade him to whoever we want. And the thought we're going to get a bidding war going for him, between teams that may be on his list, that may be interested, that may have pieces we want in return, is pretty silly. I seriously doubt Gillis is going to pull a Columbus and advertise Luongo to the league.

And yeah, if I were Yzerman I'd totally give up on a skilled 19 year old playing in the NHL or a 21 year old, 6'6, 230lb, former 2nd overall d-man for a 33 year old goalie with 10 years left.

The best they could determine was that after game 3 or 4 in Chicago ( I forget now which game) the majority of the players got something from the after game food in the dressing room. The way the illness spread, who got infected and the symptoms were all consistent with food poisoning/sickness.

IN Chicago eh??

Y'know one could come up with a very believable conspiracy theory if one were so inclined.

There was. Don't you remember that at one point after a game in Chicago the Canucks were complaining about unauthorized personnel being aloud into the dressing room. They complained to the hawks and to the NHL prompting the NHL to send a memo to all playoff teams reminding them about locker room security.

But no, no one suggested that the food was tampered with. The Canucks were upset that unauthorized people in the room were talking about the condition of Canucks players.

Yes but no doubt someone WILL.... and hey tis very believable eh wot? :mex:

I'm hearing Shitfinger was hired by someone in Blackhawk management.
