Doubtful imho he realized he was taking fentanyl.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 5:03 pm I had a feeling cocaine was probably the cause. Well most of us were piling on Botch while he was still alive.
Personally I've been biting my tongue since he passed.

Yeah, just say something something about Blob's weight, height and ozone-like bald spot so Wiz can stop beating off and start a new GDT.

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"
Jesus Mick.. way to start a narrative..
You know NOTHING of this guys personal life. Hate his coverage of the team, sure. I have no problem with that.
But the guys life ended in tragedy, no need to pile on and try and wreck his past as well with a bunch of clips that YOU feel adds to your version of HIS story. That’s total bullshit, bush league rumour starting shit. Cut it out. Have some respect for the guys family, because they are the only ones who are affected by this kinda thing now.
Do better.

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"
Yeah me too. It’s a tragedy what happened to him no doubt, I lost a nephew to a drug overdose so it’s a touchy subject for me, but I wasn’t a fan of Botchford, I don’t think there is anything wrong with admitting that. I also don’t think there is anything wrong with saying “not being surprised by his cause of death”. I had my suspicions.Strangelove wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 5:50 pmWell most of us were piling on Botch while he was still alive.

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"
It wasn't meant to be disparaging. I liked his style, particularly in those days and when he reported while being THE guy who got to ride with
the team on their trips.

Listen Doylez did I not say his passing was sad? He left a young family behind who will go the rest of their young lives without their father. All I was saying is I can’t lie I wasn’t a fan of Botch especially the last couple years. There is a reason why Botch is considered a god at HF.

“He sounded like a cokehead on air”
Who knows how often the guy was using? It only takes once to hit a bad batch and end up tits up.
Between yours and Gohmert’s comments you guys were pretty plugged into his lifestyle and habits.

Listen booze why are you on me like white on rice? When you’re cokin’ up with a young family of 3, something is a foul. Doesn’t strike me as casual partaker, plus he was wound up tighter than a garage door spring his last while on air.
