Did anyone tune into HNIC radio yesterday? The "legendary broadcaster" Gord Stellick (sp?) used the Larry Murphy in Toronto example several times to talk about how Luongo got the bronx cheer the other night. He talked about it with pretty much every guest that came on.

Also, Bob McKenzie apparently cited the Larry Murphy thing on the quiz last night,too. It is like 6 games in to the season and it has begun already. This anti-Canuck media bias is getting old in a hurry. I am so sick of the Eastern media and how they look at the west in general. (not just Vancouver)

I am happy the Leafs are doing well to start the year. I hope they make the playoffs and have a deep run. There ... is that better hockey gods?

The Coilers & Dead Things weren't all that hated in their dynasty years.

While I am in complete agreement that the current Canucks should be mentioned with these teams, maybe this is part of the reason for the supposed hate?

Canucks SHOULDN'T be mentioned in the same sentence as the Oilers or Wings until they peel off a couple of championships.

Vancouver fans have long been known for taking their booing to ridiculous levels.

Folks here talk about 'Goaltender Graveyard' but there's also the famous 'boo birds' of Empire Stadium.

This city has run more goalies & quarterbacks outta town than any other.
