That reminds me, are we still allowed to use the word "Swede" or has it become a synonym for you-know-what?
Well according to His Eminence Emperor Burke, Sedin is NOT Swedish for "punch me in the face five times in a scrum and make me look like a cowardly you-know-what".

So at least we know that.
Well then the Emperor has no clothes and the Emperor should master English before he tackles Swedish.
Speaking of the Sedins and the Emperor....
The Emperor once loved the Sedins, but since has turned to "pugnacity, testosterone, truculence and belligerence".
(I've been told there are no Swedish terms for those words).

That was his logic, certainly not mine. But he made his point.
However, with respect to on-ice name calling? I don't think its time for our PC obsessed society to start imposing the hypersensitivity and over vigilance of every day life to the realm of (dumb as rocks) professional hockey players.
This is the NHL not grade 7 empathy class.
There are some kids watching and listening though. And some heterosexually challenged Canadians, too.
Personally I think it’s wrong to call anyone anything.
“GOOD” or “BAD”.
Considering the fact all things ARE relative.
For instance if I were to ‘pump your tires’ by calling you an “evil genius” WELL THEN in a roundabout way one could say I’m actually calling others at this site “goody-two-shoe morons”... by way of comparison. Who knows how many folks would feel hurt and offended IF I were to call you an “evil genius”!!
For example.
You may have just insulted examples, not that I can speak for them.

Which is fine. That's why the NHL allows things like HBO's 24/7 to be aired to the appropriate audience. Everyone with a brain knows that hockey is a rough, tough, and often vulgar sport. Do you think the NHL really wants children hearing Sidney Crosby screaming (rather girlishly) at a ref "What the FUCK is that?!" Obviously not.
That being said, if you get caught, prepare to face the music. There's obviously some video evidence (minus audio) that probably could be deciphered using the 'ol "read my lips", but if nobody hears it they aren't going to care.
