If i were AV, id sit salo as long as possible. Our defense absolutely need to figure out how to play good sound defense with or without him

I totally agree with this. Sulzer looked WAY out of place against Anahiem. If Salo does come back, I would limit his ice time, and give him extra games off to try and protect him form injury. we can play the heck out oif him in march.

It was a nice return to the lineup for Booth I thought. Good game for him despite the rust. I really can't help but wonder if it's time to move Kesler to the wing for a bit and move Hodgson up a line. Mr. Selke isn't present right now.

I know what you mean about keslers game being off.

I am not sure I would move the wingers around so much as jusxt give Coho 1 or 2 more minutes of Keslers time on the ice.

If Coho started getting 14 minutes a night, and Kesler dropped to 16, (we are talking 1 extra shift per period here), that would send the message to the entire line of Higgins-Kesler-Booth

Did someone get hurt last night (never watched the game)? If not that pretty much says they do not care for Ballard, Sulzer or Alberts.

From Canucks Facebook:

Salo skated for a second consecutive day on his own and is feeling better.

Sami Salo is "good to go". He passed all protocol and will play in Rogers Arena tomorrow.

Sit him anyway - even though it's going to hurt my hockey pool, rather not risk it getting worse...who cares about the iron man streak.

Daniel Sedin on how his brother has played 500+ games straight "I think its because he never goes into the corners"

pfft. Plenty of NHL professionals have experienced breaks or fractures as a result of taking a hard slapshot. Getting confirmation that Henrick did not suffer a broken ankle from the shot is simply getting confirmation that our 6+ million dollar cap hit (AND TEAM CAPTAIN) is good to go. I'd rather not enter the playoffs this year with either of the Sedin's down to injury.

If Eurosister is your opinion of our two MVPs and back to back Art Ross winners... then I suggest you took a wrong turn from the Blackhawks or Bruins forum. Realistically, don't you think it would be more fun to comment on Timmy Tomas's religious rant and subsequent "bugger off" comments to the media?

Just saying.

Corranhorn and Waffle. I like your posts. Welcome to this forum. I am relatively new myself. Most of the people posting seem to really think about the post and seem to know the game. Like any thread there are trolls but fewer than most. Look forward to reading your contributions.
