Thanks for clearing that up wiener, i was wondering that myself.

So I guess its safe to say this is merely a conditioning stint for Bitz. Having said that, if he can't remain healthy, or should fail to get his game to the level the Canuck brass expected of him back in the summer, he could very well spend the remainder of the year down there.

22 months is a long time to be out of hockey.

That too but I think Ryan Murray had 3 braindead plays in front of Wedgewood resulting in 3 own goals. Visentine was also less than impressive.

Murray had 3 pucks bounce in off him. More bad luck than braindead, IMO.

I disagree with that being bad luck. The first goal he dove into his own net, took his goalie out and brought the puck in with him and the 2nd and 3rd he tried to block with his stick and tipped in. If your not blocking it with your body don't even bother, goalies are good enough to stop an unscreened slapper.

I guess that depends upon whether Booth is back or not. If he is ready to go they don't need to call anyone up right now. I am more concerned about Salo. If he looses any time we are in a deep hurt. We have Sulzer healthy and my guess is he would get the game until Rome is ready. A defence of Sulzer, Alberts and Ballard is pretty scary but then again maybe Ballard gets moved up with Elder for a game or two.

Ballard seems to play his best with Tanev, IIRC.

According to the Canucks Facebook page MG has apparently confirmed Sami's injury as a concussion.

I think Murph said that Booth has been cleared to play but his return is up to him.

AV also replied when asked about the Marchand incident that "if the league doesn't do something about his actions, someone else will".

So Duco and Sulzer in. If Booth comes back and plays with Higgins we only need a former FLA center to make a five man line of former panthers.
