Dumb postRoyalDude wrote: ↑Fri Apr 20, 2018 10:19 amAre we surprised that Bubbles is defending the Flames and their defence? "Blame the goaltending!" Remember Blobbee loves Tkachuk (slow), Bennett (bust), Hamonic (not a stud), Backlund (he loves his new contract)Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 8:10 pmLol their defence is hardly a disaster. The current D or the ones on the way.
Goaltending is a mess and so is team speed.
All year all you heard "the Flames defence is overrated" after the first pairing the Defence is atrocious. Hamonic is not the "stud" that blob likes to refer him as. The defence is slow and prodding, not a speedy, transition, fast puck moving defence that is so important in today's NHL. Giordano is an old man. The forward unit is very thin after 3 guys and like their D, not fast either.
Many problems with this team that go beyond "goaltending"

I think we are doing this the right way, or should I say the way it will have to be done in today's NHL.
Don't know WTF the Flames are doing?

Sounds like Bill Peters has walked away from the gongshow in Carolina and is heavily favoured to become the Flames next head coach.

From one gong show to another, hard to say which team has the better roster.Island Nucklehead wrote: ↑Fri Apr 20, 2018 7:24 pm Sounds like Bill Peters has walked away from the gongshow in Carolina and is heavily favoured to become the Flames next head coach.

I don’t think it’s the roster he’s thinking about.Richardstroker69 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 20, 2018 8:27 pmFrom one gong show to another, hard to say which team has the better roster.Island Nucklehead wrote: ↑Fri Apr 20, 2018 7:24 pm Sounds like Bill Peters has walked away from the gongshow in Carolina and is heavily favoured to become the Flames next head coach.

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka
Their whole board was ripping Peters to shreds BEFORE he was confirmed as the hire. Now they are "cautiously optimistic" about him because he talked a good game and publicly blow their players really hard. The mental gymnastics required to reconcile the cognitive dissonance was pretty funny to watch

Burke out of Calgary....another 5 year plan complete. LOL
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
