I'm sure they're thrilled about getting our sloppy seconds.... just like we would be getting 2 flames cast offs.

Both of those players will improve their team for a year or so.

It seems weird to have Markstrom and Tanev in the Flames lineup. It's going to feel like I'm cheering for the Canucks :mex: :look:

Oh I don't think you have to fear that, at least not from the Flames. I see them as being a playoff team and that's about it. Maybe they can win a round, hell maybe even a couple of rounds, but they won't win the cup with the current core.

BCEP are the fLames going for it before gio dies?

Monahan and/or rats favorite johnny_hockey were awfully close to getting traded out before these 2 pickups.

I could see Johnny Hockey getting traded. I don't think the Flames are in a position to go for it.
