Monahan and/or rats favorite johnny_hockey were awfully close to getting traded out before these 2 pickups.
I could see Johnny Hockey getting traded. I don't think the Flames are in a position to go for it.

Calgary keeps stealing from us. First like 4 players, now the jersey. There definitely is a resemblance. :D

I spent my teen years "growing up" in Creston.....it's a beautiful place, but there's a disgustingly substantial number of Flames fans in that valley.
Yeah I grew up in Creston also. I left in 1971 and moved back in about 1984 and lived there until 1989, then moved back to Alberta. Nice place but I would never go back.
I'd retire back there.....I think. Although it's not an ideal place for seniors with health concerns because of lack of access to any advanced services.

There's no jobs real though, and the lack of an airport means fly in/out work requires an hour plus drive to catch a flight. In the winter that sucks.

But it's an amazing place to live a quiet life.

Brad Treliving must love Elmer.

Matt Tkachuk, Jacob Markstrom, Rasmus Andersson, Chris Tanev.

Fucking team has more shutouts than the Canucks have wins.
