Big d-man with zero offensive side - seems like a reasonable 7-8th filler.
Too bad you had break the news to us though, we're all sooo-o-o-o excited about the 'big news'

I like this signing - Davison is a hell of a hitter.

He's a threat to score every time he touches the puck.
And is playing against Toronto.

Don't think he's necessarily Moose filler, he looks like a good 7 d-man for me, and we finally get a heavyweight enforcer. Hordichuk is a solid fighter, but he's out of his weight class in some instances.

I wonder how mobile he is? He sure did not play in very many games over the seasons except for that one season (05-06) when he played 69 games for the Sharks. We do need some size and grit so maybe he'll get more playing time with the Nucks.

I like our top 5/6 pretty well, but you have to go in thinking you're going to miss Ohlund and/or Salo and/or Mitchell for significant time every year. If two of them are healthy most of the year bonus, but it necessitates us being particularly deep at the position.

The scouting report says he's a legit scoring threat from 180 feet out.

Sixth or seventh dman. If he works on his lateral movement he could be a solid six. Good attitude, hits a ton and will fight. Somehow I think that there will be a lot less people running Luongo.
