Salo out day to day with Groin injury.

Post by Naslund Is King »

VANCOUVER - Already reeling with injuries to their blueline corps, the Vancouver Canucks may be without Sami Salo for their game Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Salo has a sore groin, according to team officials, and is listed as day-to-day. He appeared to suffer the injury in the third period of Vancouver's 4-3 Tuesday loss to the Dallas Stars.

this is perfect. just what we needed.

this team is struggling that is no doubt. Lou is coming back and we are on a 4 game road trip where most of the walking wounded will be on the trip as well..

we have a crucial 4 game trip that can go along way to rebuilding this confidence that is lacking. pull together during these adverse times ad it could do wonders.

Typical of the season......

Well at least I like the call ups. I'd like to see what these guys have to offer. Hopefully Brown will go at it with Roy tomorrow, that should be a decent tilt.

Bourdon's last call up was pretty effective earlier in the season (if i remember correctly). They had similar problems with injured d-men and were deeply looking for wins.

Here's to hope.

When Aaron Miller is our only d-man to play every game, you know there's a problem...
